Shorts

Shorts is a collection of three short plays, each a gem in its own right. "Sheher" explores the bittersweet pangs of nostalgia through characters yearning for the warmth of a distant home. In "Oob", a comedy by Bhisham Sahni, a teacher is stuck invigilating an interminable three-hour exam, and the play dissects the absurdity of monotony. The laughter carries on in "Dholak", a whimsical take on the chaotic Indian wedding.

Carried by the cast across all three, the evening moves through the full range of human emotion.
