Why Manganiyar music

The stories came from places that sang

The Manganiyars are hereditary musicians of the Thar, whose families have carried songs and stories for generations. Premchand and Bhisham Sahni wrote about villages, fairs and weddings. Set beside this living music, their stories come home.
