The peepal was where a village gathered to hear a story. Peepal Matter brings that back to the city.

Premchand's Gulli-Danda, retold as an immersive storytelling evening. Every person who walked in was handed a line, and shouted it on cue, so a café full of strangers became the village.
Bismillah Khan and his Manganiyar group played live among the audience. A list of a hundred beautiful things opened and closed the piece.
